The Best Place for a Meeting

Along with the search, advisory, and venture business, many in the BVA network share our Founder's passion for ocean sailing on his Swan 48, Magic Cloud. We frequently host VCs and start-up CEOs on half-day trips to foster team building and networking on San Francisco Bay. Recent sailing trips have included teams from Opus, NEA, Hummer, Morgenthaler, Alloy, Sofinnova, Silicon Valley Bank, UBS, Google, Artiman Ventures and Focus Ventures.

 

Magic Cloud sails regularly on San Francisco Bay and up and down the Pacific coast, including south to Mazatlan, Mexico and north to Vancouver, B.C. and as far west as the Farallon Islands (with a Transpac to Hawaii on the bucket list!) Other epic international trips include Athens to Crete and Barcelona to Gibraltar.

 

More than 500 Silicon Valley executives have had fun and enjoyed networking aboard “MC”. Everyone gets lessons in captaining the boat. Watch out for our next event!
