CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Bitfusion, a Series A venture Backed company developing advanced virtualization technologies for heterogeneous computing, is seeking a Chief Operating  Officer.

 

The Chief Operating  Officer (COO) will partner with  the Founder/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will work closely with the members of the senior management team. The Chief Operating  Officer will be responsible for all sales, marketing business development, and partner strategy in the organization. The COO will develop, execute and lead product, sales and revenue growth strategies and initiatives to achieve the company's short and long term goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Partner with the CEO on all business activities and keep the CEO informed on important business opportunities and recommendations

  • Oversee marketing, sales, business development  management functions

  • Be responsible for meeting revenue and account growth goals by owning sales pipeline from conception to execution

  • Oversee marketing functions and be responsible for all marketing activities (including inbound, outbound and brand marketing)

  • Oversee channel/partner development - adding sales channels and partners

  • Hiring and building the sales, marketing, and operations organization

  • Partner with the senior management team to define differentiated offerings and go-to-market strategies and predictable achievement of financial metrics

  • Provide input on compensation and budget

  • Drive a lean startup style environment with constant experimentation and learning

 

Qualifications:
 

  • Demonstrated experience as a Chief Operating  Officer, SVP/General Manager,  or an equivalent role responsible for sales and marketing, owning a P&L with tangible accomplishment in key areas of revenue strategy and execution

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of being hands-on in a fast-paced, start-up environment

  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment demanding constant experimentation and learning

  • Self starter with highly energetic personality and passion

  • Demonstrate critical thinking (both strategic and analytical)

  • High integrity, credibility and character, demonstration of high moral and ethical behavior
